Start the New Year by Joining Sea to Sea as a Cyclist, Volunteer or Donor

(This originally appeared in the Sea to Sea e-newsletter on January 3, 2013)

The fresh, crisp days of January and the promise of a new year make this the ideal month for setting goals, forming healthy habits, and starting off another year on the right foot.
The perfect way to do all three? Register as a cyclist with Sea to Sea, and start fundraising and training now to ride across the United States and Canada in an effort to fight against poverty.
Not interested in cycling? Signing up as a volunteer or donating to Sea to Sea are also fantastic ways to start a new year with your focus on helping others. If you are already signed up as a cyclist or volunteer, encourage a friend or family member to join you in the experience of a lifetime!
A recent article in British newspaper The Guardian drew attention to the fact that 215 million children worldwide are trapped in child labor, facing horrific conditions and lacking educational opportunities, barred from a better future.
Your contribution to Sea to Sea—as a cyclist, a volunteer, or a donor—can interrupt the cycle of poverty and help children around the world have a brighter future.
Make 2013 the year you joined the fight against poverty—you won’t regret it!
